Our client is a renowned company based in Mallow area, Co. Cork, specializing in the production of roofing, facade coverings, and accessories for agricultural, commercial, industrial, sports, and residential projects looking for machine operators.

Job Description:

• Operating production machinery and performing manual assembly
• Ensuring the continuity and efficiency of the production process
• Operating production lines, which include continuous insulated panel line, sheet rolling and truss machines, cutting and slitting machines for galvanized sheet metal, various types of bending machines, as well as laser and plasma cutting machines

Responsibilities:

• Configuring machines before initiating the production cycle
• Monitoring and adjusting machine settings (e.g., speed, cutting length)
• Complying with safety and hygiene regulations
• Updating documentation such as registers, check sheets, and change reports
• Maintaining cleanliness in the workplace and on the production line
• Unloading and packaging products from the production line
• Manual assembly

Required qualifications:

• Emphasis on health and safety
• Positive attitude towards work
• Ability to work within a team
• Problem-solving skills, listening skills, and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Experience in working in a factory, operating machinery, and forklift operation would be an advantage
