Ward Personnel is a successful and rapidly growing recruitment agency, servicing the Construction and Industrial sectors with offices in Cork and Dublin, and in 2022 opened its first International office in Lublin, Poland. Our clients include the majority of Ireland’s largest building contractors and over the last 10 years we have developed an excellent reputation as a quality supplier of labour and trades staff and all types of construction workers to the industry. As part of our continued expansion plans, we are looking to recruit for the following role:

Quality and Compliance Specialist

The role, which reports directly to the Operations Director, will be Cork based (with a potential hybrid element) and will be focused on all aspects of the company’s quality and compliance systems, policies, and procedures.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Working closely with the operations team to draft, update, and maintain all company operating policies and procedures, including training documents and videos.
• Working with the operations team to complete client compliance documents and questionnaires.
• Record and report on all H&S matters that impact the company, including all accident and HSA reporting, work permits and ID verification.
• Prepare and distribute key weekly and monthly KPI’s to the operations and management team in relation to candidate and worker statistics and candidate sources etc.
• Working closely with the Operations Director to design, conduct and report on quarterly internal audits in relation to compliance with all Company internal procedures across a range of areas such as candidate database management, GDPR compliance, client files management, Qualifications database maintenance etc.

The successful candidate will:

• Have at least 2-3 years Quality and Compliance experience, possibly having started in an administrative role in a Quality department
• Have excellent attention to detail across all aspects of their work.
• Have experience in drafting policies and procedures and on document control best practice.
• Some knowledge of Health and Safety, GDPR, and related matters would be an advantage.
• Ideally be degree-qualified, enthusiastic, and positive.
• Be very strong on IT systems and on Microsoft Office products.
• Be a team player, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
