Our client is a BIM Service provider to the Construction industry, specializing in Structural Steel Modelling & Detailing, Architectural Modelling & Detailing and MEP Coordination. We utilize the latest BIM technology software to create and coordinate our models. We work on a wide variety of projects in Ireland and the UK. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking to recruit a Steel Detailer to join their dynamic team. Applicants should have a strong desire and commitment to learning new technologies in an exciting environment and have excellent attention to detail. Applicants should have a third level qualification in an engineering discipline and have experience in using Tekla Structures Steel Detailing Software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be able to work as part of a team or individual on a wide variety of structural steelwork projects.
• Interpret Consulting Engineers & Architects designs and generate RFI’s where required.
• 3D Modelling of steel structures and Detailing steel connections using Tekla Structures.
• Produce General Arrangement Drawings and Fabrication Drawings.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in the use of Tekla Structures Steel Detailing Software
• Good communication and project management skills.
• Be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
