General Information:

•  A valid fork truck driving licence is essential
•  Language: Good understanding of spoken English
• Knowledge of / experience working with timber products is desirable

Company Product / Concept:

•  The Company has designed an innovative, rapid build timber build system for the residential housing market
•  The system involves the mass production of generic components which are all manufactured using a CNC machine
• The components are fabricated and stockpiled regardless of the house design, which means much shorter lead-in times from order to delivery
• The product is partially assembled in the warehouse prior to being dispatched to site where it is erected by independent carpentry contractors The Company is primarily targeting the multi-unit housing developments. It can also cater for smaller niche residential development projects

Job Description:

•  Working as part of a team
• Loading and unloading the CNC Machine and Saw Machine
• Assembling window and door lintels and cills for delivery to site Assembling components into wall panels
• Quality control of the components being manufactured
• Driving the company’s CombiLift to undertake daily operations and to arrange stock so factory operates in an efficient manner
• Organising (stacking / racking) manufactured components to store prior to dispatching to site
• Responsible for the packing and dispatching of sales orders and on-time delivery of projects

They will be required to work as part of a team to ensure that the manufacturing and dispatching of the components is done in an efficient and lean manner. They will also need to assemble components in the factory while ensuring that the factory is operated in an efficient and safe manner. They will be required to drive a CombiLift during the course of their work.
