Ward Personnel is a market leading and award-winning construction recruitment agency with offices in Cork and Dublin in Ireland, Lublin in Poland, and most recently we have entered the Danish market. We specialise in the Construction and Mechanical & Electrical sectors. We service the recruitment needs of the majority of the Top 50 Construction firms in Ireland.

 

We have developed an excellent reputation as a quality supplier of labour and trades staff and all types of construction workers to the industry.

With an increasing number of our Irish clients working on large Pharmaceutical and Data Centre projects in Denmark we are now looking to hire a Business Development / Account Manager on the ground in Denmark to support our growth plans there.

The role, which reports directly to the Head of our International Sourcing Division, with a dotted line to our Head of Business Development, will be Denmark based and will be a mix of Business Development and Operational responsibilities as outlined below.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing relationships with new and existing clients that will lead to increased orders in Denmark.
  • Conduct a mixture of site visits to existing clients and potential clients’ sites and follow up with CRM calls to build key client relationships and in turn increase orders.
  • All administration duties around the sales and operations process – including order processing, pricing and margin matters, preparing weekly metrics around site visits, CRM calls, orders processed, speaking with site workers and resolving any issues etc.
  • Work closely with our recruitment teams (in Ireland and Poland) to update them on orders received and to respond to clients with updates as appropriate, to ensure an excellent service is provided by Ward Personnel
  • Liaise with and support our site workforce in Denmark as regards all logistical matters including sorting accommodation, getting our workers set up on Danish payroll, retrieving site hours for our workers from our clients, travelling to site to meet our clients, organising site inductions for our workers etc.
  • Help build the Ward Personnel brand in Denmark by expanding our client base through business development, service delivery, working with the Digital marketing team, and networking.
  • Building and maintaining outstanding relationships with our clients to ensure that Ward Personnel is their recruiter of choice for construction workers for Irish clients in Denmark.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have at least 2 years Operations and Business Development/Sales experience – ideally in recruitment and/or the construction sector
  • Be a fluent English speaker – any additional languages advantageous but not essential
  • Be a dynamic and ambitious individual with an outgoing personality and excellent people skills who enjoys working at Sales/Business Development and who has the ability to grow the Ward Personnel business in Denmark.
  • Be Degree qualified preferably though this is not essential
  • Preferably have some construction industry experience/knowledge though this is not essential
  • Be IT proficient and have very strong attention to detail
  • Be results focused and a team player
  • Have a valid driving license

Pay: €50,000.00-€71,707.02 per year
