The Civil Foreperson will be working on Northern Ireland’s largest civils project in Omagh, Co. Tyrone with the opportunity to move to other projects upon completion.

Our client are currently leading in the development of several exciting and ground breaking projects. Here, we are continuing to grow and develop new projects with long-term, stable, career development opportunities for experienced Civil Forepeople in a variety of locations.

Reporting to the Site Agent, the Civil Foreperson will be responsible for overseeing all general civil work activities onsite, the successful Civil Foreperson will work closely with the site personnel to deliver projects to the highest possible standard.

You would be a key people, skills, and progress manager, responsible for the project activities from planning to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and report on sub-contractor’s performance.
  • Monitor the project activities progress in accordance with the agreed project schedule.
  • Working closely with Health & Safety advisors.
  • Deliver clear directions to direct staff and subcontractors.

Experience:

  • 2+ years in a Civil Foreman position working on building and civil projects
  • Fully qualified tradesperson in construction
  • 1+ years’ experience working with Irish Health & Safety/building regulations and compliance.
  • Enthusiastic personality with a strong work ethic.
