CONTRACTS MANAGER – MAVCO
MAVCO delivers large‑scale turnkey HVAC engineering systems for industrial clients across Ireland and Europe, including Pharmaceutical, Medical, Food, and Technology sectors. The Contracts Manager plays a central role in the successful delivery of our client commitments.
Role Purpose
To lead and oversee multiple HVAC contracts simultaneously, ensuring MAVCO’s contractual obligations, commercial performance, risk management, and compliance are maintained across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management & Governance
- Manage multiple contracts from award through completion.
- Ensure all contractual obligations, specifications, and performance criteria are met.
- Oversee contract documentation, change orders, variations, and risk logs.
- Commercial Control
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly commercial reporting.
- Oversee cost plans and financial outcomes in collaboration with project teams.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, valuations, and payment schedules.
- Programme & Resource Oversight
- Work closely with Project Managers to align contract deliverables with project programmes.
- Ensure resources (labour, materials, equipment) are fully coordinated.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as a senior point of escalation for clients and consultants.
- Lead formal progress reviews, commercial meetings, and contract negotiations.
- Compliance, Quality & Safety
- Ensure all contract activities adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and MAVCO’s quality-first principles.
- Support audits, compliance reporting, and commissioning quality checks.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in mechanical/HVAC contracting or building services.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience managing large‑scale M&E/HVAC contracts.
- Excellent understanding of industrial compliance environments.
- Strong negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- Experience in mechanical packages for pharmaceutical, medical, food, or technology sectors.
- Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification.
- Experience supporting turnkey project models.
