Construction Manager

Location: Cork, Ireland

Experience: Minimum 5-6 years as a supervisor or related, with experience in mechanical trades such as, HVAC, ventilation ducts and pipes.

About the Position: We are currently seeking a Construction Manager on behalf of our client to join their team in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervisory roles and mechanical trades, with a proven ability to collaborate with subcontractors, manage employees, and coordinate with consultants and project teams. This is a direct-hire position with our client, offering the possibility of long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Manage and supervise on-site personnel, including construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
• Collaborate with consultants and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project goals are met.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a supervisory role or related position in the construction industry.
• Experience in mechanical trades such as plumbing, HVAC, duct, and pipe work is essential.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and standards.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction management or related field.
