Senior Quantity Surveyor

Main Contractor | Monaghan / North Dublin (3/2 Split)

Due to continued growth and a strong order book, our client is appointing a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial ownership of two live projects valued at €14.8M. This is an opportunity to join a 20-year established building contractor delivering projects across the North Midlands and Greater Dublin.

Location

3 days on-site Monaghan
2 days on-site North Dublin
Working hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm

• €8.3M Education Project – 14 months remaining
• €6.5M Residential & Commercial Development – 16 Months remaining

Total live value: €14.8M

The Role

You will take full commercial control from subcontract procurement through to final account.

Key responsibilities:

• Subcontract procurement & package management
• Interim valuations & variations
• CVRs & cost reporting
• Commercial risk management
• Client & design team liaison
• Working closely with Project Managers to protect margin and deliver on budget

This is a hands-on, site-based role with real ownership.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics
• 5–10+ years’ experience with a main contractor
• Strong subcontract procurement background
• Experience managing projects through to final account
• Strong Excel skills (Buildsoft / Cubit advantageous)
