Our client, a well established building contractor, require an experienced Site Foreperson to join the construction team on a commercial project in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience working as a Foreperson with some commercial experience. This role primarily concerns overseeing the various trades on site and ensuring the work is completed to the highest quality and in a timely manner.

Your duties will include:

• Organising the various professional people working on a project
• Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
• Agreeing programme and delivering the project in accordance with same
• Attending site meetings
• Making sure the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budget
• Ensuring an efficient construction site
• Delivering projects with the highest quality
• Working with the Health & Safety Department to ensure safe ensuring safe construction at all times

Requirements:

• The successful Foreperson will have at least 4 years’ supervisory experience
• Must be able to manage a large team.
• Previous commercial experience
• Ensure that the project progresses on schedule.
