Site Supervisor

Location: Cork, Ireland

Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in mechanical trades such as pipe work, HVAC.

About the Position: We are currently seeking a Supervisor on behalf of our client to join their team in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in mechanical trades, including installation of sanitary systems, HVAC, and pipe work. The Supervisor will be responsible for collaborating with subcontractors, managing employees, and ensuring efficient project execution. This is a direct-hire position with our client, offering the possibility of long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Supervise on-site personnel, including construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as required.
  • Monitor project progress and budget, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in mechanical trades such as HVAC, and pipe work.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors and manage employees.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
