Senior EHS Advisor – Cork

Location: Cork, Ireland

Industry: Commercial & Pharmaceutical Construction

Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior EHS Advisor to join their team in Cork, supporting projects across the commercial and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a mobile role with the potential to work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Environmental Health & Safety policies and systems
  • Provide expert guidance to management, employees, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS legislation and best practices
  • Deliver site inductions and health & safety training
  • Develop and review EHS documentation including risk assessments and method statements
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are taken
  • Investigate incidents and ensure proper reporting and follow-up
  • Maintain EHS records, reports, and registers
  • Support site teams with Toolbox Talks and EHS initiatives
  • Prepare Safety Files for client handover

Requirements

  • Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience on large-scale construction projects
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
