Our client, a top Civils contractors requires a Civil Engineer for roads projects in Co. Tipperary.
Description
We are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join our road contracts division.
The successful candidate will oversee the efficient running of our tarmacadam crews.
Key Responsibilities
- Companies main point of contact for county council engineers, ensuring that all client requirements are met on schedule.
- Day to day responsibility for efficient planning, organisation, and execution of contracts
- Completion of H&S Inductions and filing records
- Drafting of Site specific H&S Plans, Risk Assessment
- Drafting of Site specific Method Statements
- Levelling and setting out when necessary
- Maintenance of Quality Control and management
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering. 3 years experience
- Road construction experience an advantage
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations an advantage
- Proficient in Autocad, MS Office Suite , Excell Word.
- Surveying and Setting Out experience an advantage
- Good People manager
- Effective Communicator written and verbal
- Familiarity with contract documents an advantage
- Familiarity with Trimble Total Station an advantage
