Our client, a top Civils contractors requires a Civil Engineer for roads projects in Co. Tipperary.

Description

We are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join our road contracts division.

The successful candidate will oversee the efficient running of our tarmacadam crews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Companies main point of contact for county council engineers, ensuring that all client requirements are met on schedule.
  • Day to day responsibility for efficient planning, organisation, and execution of contracts
  • Completion of H&S Inductions and filing records
  • Drafting of Site specific H&S Plans, Risk Assessment
  • Drafting of Site specific Method Statements
  • Levelling and setting out when necessary
  • Maintenance of Quality Control and management

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering. 3 years experience
  • Road construction experience an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations an advantage
  • Proficient in Autocad, MS Office Suite , Excell Word.
  • Surveying and Setting Out experience an advantage
  • Good People manager
  • Effective Communicator written and verbal
  • Familiarity with contract documents an advantage
  • Familiarity with Trimble Total Station an advantage
