Project Manager – Cork

We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of one of several upcoming projects across pharmaceutical, life sciences, food & beverage, and commercial sectors.

What You’ll Lead

  • High‑performance project teams delivering complex builds from conception to completion
  • Collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality standards embedded across all site activities
  • Programme development ensuring sequencing, milestones, and delivery targets are met
  • Risk‑focused planning with short‑ and medium‑term strategies to keep projects on track
  • Quality assurance aligned with company systems, procedures, and specifications
  • Commercial ownership in partnership with the commercial team
  • Procurement leadership for subcontractors and suppliers
  • Value engineering initiatives that enhance project outcomes
  • Clear communication with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and authorities
  • Transparent reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Effective contract reviews and progress meetings
  • Client and consultant engagement through structured progress updates

What You Bring

  • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent)
  • 7+ years’ experience delivering large‑scale commercial or industrial projects
  • Strong IT capability including Microsoft Suite
  • Leadership and communication excellence
  • Stakeholder relationship skills built on trust and collaboration
  • Commercial acumen and confident negotiation abilities
  • Knowledge of building regulations and certification standards
  • Self‑motivation and initiative in a fast‑paced environment
  • Client‑focused presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong teams across staff and subcontractors
