Build safer sites. Build your career.
We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused EHS Advisor to join our client’s team on a major construction project. If you thrive in a fast-paced site environment and are passionate about keeping people safe while delivering top-tier builds, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Your Role on Site

As the EHS Advisor, you’ll be a key player in ensuring that safety is more than just a checklist — it’s a culture. You’ll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure every task is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Site Safety: Implement and maintain EHS policies and procedures across all phases of construction.
  • Advise & Support: Be the go-to safety expert for site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure Compliance: Monitor adherence to Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Train the Team: Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks that are practical, engaging, and relevant.
  • Plan for Safety: Develop and review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), Safe Plans of Action, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Inspect & Audit: Conduct regular site inspections and audits, report findings, and ensure timely close-out of actions.
  • Incident Response: Lead investigations, ensure accurate reporting, and share lessons learned across the team.
  • Promote a Safety-First Culture: Drive proactive safety interventions and continuous improvement.
  • Keep Records Up to Date: Maintain EHS registers, reports, and documentation for internal use and client handover.

What You’ll Bring

  • A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a construction EHS role, ideally on large-scale or complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish construction safety regulations and best practices.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills — confident engaging with site crews, subcontractors, and senior management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Why this opportunity?

  • Be part of a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Work on landmark construction projects that shape communities.
  • Join a team where your voice matters and your work makes a difference.
  • Enjoy opportunities for career progression and professional development.
