PROJECT MANAGER – MAVCO
MAVCO delivers large‑scale turnkey HVAC engineering systems for industrial clients across Ireland and Europe, including Pharmaceutical, Medical, Food, and Technology sectors. The Project Manager plays a central role in coordinating full project lifecycle delivery from design through commissioning.
Role Purpose
To oversee the end‑to‑end management of HVAC projects, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and spec, while maintaining MAVCO’s high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead full lifecycle delivery from early‑stage planning through commissioning and hand‑over.
Manage and track project programmes, ensuring milestones are achieved.
- Oversee installation teams, site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with stringent sector‑specific requirements (pharma, medical, food, technology).
- Technical & Quality Oversight
- Interpret HVAC system designs and ensure installation meets specification.
- Conduct quality audits and oversee commissioning processes.
- Collaborate with design consultants and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Commercial & Procurement
- Monitor budgets, control project costs, and manage variations.
- Support tendering, proposals, and project pricing when required.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal leadership.
- Prepare and deliver regular project progress updates.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all works adhere to industry standards and site‑specific safety regulations.
- Lead on safe‑system-of-work implementation across all phases.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience managing mechanical/HVAC projects.
- Strong background delivering complex industrial HVAC or mechanical packages.
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of commissioning, system integration, and industrial compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Experience with modular construction or integration projects.
Previous experience in pharma or life‑science HVAC delivery.
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
