Project Manager – Bus Stop Contracts

Location: Leinster Region (within a 50-mile radius of Dublin City)
Salary: €70k-€80k
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of bus stop infrastructure contracts across Leinster. This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with a strong civil engineering and operations background, capable of managing multiple sites and coordinating effectively with public and private stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage execution of bus stop contracts, ensuring delivery according to specifications, schedules, and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison with the NTA Project Manager; attend weekly contract meetings.
  • Operations Management: Coordinate programming and scheduling of works across multiple daily sites, overseeing teams and subcontractors.
  • Public Realm Coordination: Interface with local authorities and utilities; manage TM plans, Road Opening Licenses (ROLs), and other regulatory needs.
  • Engineering Support: Work with Civil Engineering consultants to facilitate site surveys and construction drawings.
  • Commercial Collaboration: Support Quantity Surveyors in project valuations, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and delegate to foremen, QS, admin, and skilled site teams.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure full compliance with all H&S legislation and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including safety files, progress reports, and site documentation.
  • Software Use: Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Project for planning, documentation, and reporting.

Project & Contract Details:

  • Project Scope: Up to 1,000 bus stops ranging from simple pole installations to complex hardstanding and line marking works.
  • Contract Value: Approximately €2.5 million annually.
  • Location Range: All sites are within 50 miles of Dublin City.

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
