Summary

You will coordinate extensions and fit-outs of a commercial retail chain store.

Our client, a top Building Contractor, requires a Project Manager to manage commercial building projects in the UK and mainland Europe.
You will coordinate extensions and fit-outs of a commercial retail chain store.
All travelling expenses will be covered. Some weeks you will be 5 days on site in France etc other weeks you will work remotely from home in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
  • Taking overall responsibility for delivery of projects
  • Advising on staff requirementsaa
  • In conjunction with Planning Department, preparing detailed construction programmes
  • Ensuring works are carried out in compliance with contract requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety standards
  • In conjunction with the Construction Director, manage all contractual issues to ensure risk to the company is minimised
  • Maintain good client and design team relations
  • Attend client/design team meetings
  • Prepare monthly reports for Project Review meetings
  • In conjunction with the Project QS, appoint subcontractors as required for the project
The successful candidate will have:
  • Project Management experience on building projects in Ireland or the UK
  • Experience managing projects from start to completion
  • Experience working for a main contractor ideally on large scale projects
  • The right to work in the EU
