Project Planner – Major Construction Project | Cork Region

Are you a skilled Project Planner ready to take on a high-impact role in a dynamic construction environment? We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join a leading contractor on a large-scale commercial build in the Cork Region.

This is a site-based role reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, where you’ll play a key part in developing and managing integrated construction schedules across CSA and MEP disciplines, ensuring seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across all phases and disciplines.
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Monitor progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Implement and manage progress measurement systems.
  • Present schedule updates and control procedures to internal teams and clients.
  • Analyse schedule data using filters, lookaheads, histograms, and S-curves.
  • Collaborate closely with site management and project teams.
  • Generate forecasts, variance reports, and project documentation.

What We’re Looking For

  • A relevant third-level qualification.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in a planning role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera.
  • Strong understanding of CivilM&E, and Fit-Out works.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
