Quantity Surveyor – Residential Projects – Cork

Location: Cork, Ireland

Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their site team in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality residential developments and grow your career within a well-established construction company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans
  • Measure and value works including variations and subcontractor packages
  • Support procurement and tendering processes
  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure accurate reporting
  • Monitor project progress and maintain cost control
  • Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and reports for senior management

Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within residential construction in Ireland
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction software tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment
