We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Advisor to join a growing organisation in Dublin. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on large‑scale projects, ensuring the highest standards of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) are achieved and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead safety initiatives: Implement EHS policies, procedures, and management systems across projects.
  • Provide expert guidance: Advise management, employees, and subcontractors on all health & safety matters.
  • Ensure compliance: Monitor adherence to statutory EHS legislation and industry best practices.
  • Deliver training: Conduct inductions and safety programmes for staff and subcontractors.
  • Audit & inspect: Carry out site inspections, report findings, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Incident management: Record, investigate, and communicate lessons learned from incidents.
  • Drive proactive culture: Lead toolbox talks, safety interventions, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Maintain documentation: Manage registers, records, monthly reports, and prepare presentations for management.
  • Project close‑out: Compile safety documentation for client handover at project completion.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant third‑level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record on large projects
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and build strong stakeholder relationships
