Scheduler – Infrastructure & Aviation Projects

Location: Dublin, Ireland

 About the Opportunity

Our client, a major player in aviation infrastructure, is seeking a skilled Scheduler to support the delivery of complex capital projects within a live airport environment. This role is central to the development and maintenance of detailed, resource-loaded schedules using Primavera P6, and will contribute to the overall programme controls strategy.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling, performance tracking, and reporting across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project schedules from first principles using Primavera P6.
  • Integrate individual project schedules into a master programme schedule.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define realistic durations and dependencies.
  • Maintain and update schedules monthly to support enterprise-wide reporting.
  • Review contractor schedules and support tender evaluations.
  • Assist with earned value analysis, cost-loaded schedules, and cash flow projections.
  • Facilitate cross-project scheduling workshops and reporting.
  • Support project controls through data analysis and summary reporting.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 10+ years in scheduling, ideally within aviation or large infrastructure programmes.
  • Strong Primavera P6 proficiency and critical path scheduling experience.
  • Familiarity with pre-construction programming and multi-disciplinary project environments.

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong understanding of project governance and procurement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
  • Membership in a relevant professional organisation (preferred).
