Scheduling Manager – Infrastructure & Aviation Projects

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: €100,000 – €130,000 (DOE)

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading organisation in the aviation infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to lead programme scheduling across a portfolio of complex capital projects. This is a strategic role within a live airport environment, requiring deep expertise in Primavera P6 and programme controls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing integrated master schedules, driving performance reporting, and supporting continuous improvement across scheduling functions.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and management of multi-project programme schedules.
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules with third-party inputs.
  • Analyse schedule performance, identify critical issues, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
  • Produce summary-level programme reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Support the Programme Controls Manager in resource planning and capability development.
  • Drive a positive, performance-focused culture within the scheduling team.

 Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 15+ years in scheduling, with at least 3 years in aviation or transport infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, high-value infrastructure programmes.
  • Strong Primavera P6 expertise and experience in critical path scheduling.

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary scheduling team.
  • Familiarity with programme controls systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Membership in a relevant professional organisation (preferred).
