Senior Engineer

Are you a driven and experienced Senior Engineer ready to take the lead on high-impact residential projects? Join a forward-thinking team where your expertise will shape the future of modern living.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the management of Health and Safety on-site, ensuring full compliance with regulations.

· Review and comment on design drawings, raising RFIs as needed.

· Actively participate in Design Team Meetings, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding design issues.

· Communicate approved technical submittals to relevant site teams.

· Understand and report on the delivery programme, intervening proactively to avoid delays.

· Coordinate subcontractors and service providers to meet testing and commissioning deadlines.

· Monitor quality control of subcontractor work and supplier deliveries.

· Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, design specifications, and applicable standards.

· Conduct continuous site inspections, recording and resolving issues promptly.

· Promote and implement internal quality management systems across the team.

· Lead on technical submittals, benchmarks, and inspection processes.

· Ensure digital management systems and BCAR compliance are maintained.

· Oversee benchmarking processes and participate in scaffold inspections as required.

· Manage site drawings and maintain accurate site records and QA documentation.

· Oversee specific work packages, including tender input, scope understanding, subcontractor programme monitoring, material ordering, and trade coordination.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

· Lead the implementation of Temporary Works Management.

· Manage third-party stakeholders such as utility providers and local authorities.

· Drive value engineering by challenging design and identifying efficiencies.

· Support early stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

· Lead and mentor the engineering team, including development planning for direct reports.

· Chair site and construction team meetings.

· Promote a best-in-class customer experience and uphold the client’s brand values.

Candidate Profile:

· Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.

· Degree qualification in Engineering or equivalent.

· Proven ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Detail-oriented, methodical, and accurate.

· Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities.

· Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities.

· Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for tasks.
