Join a Landmark Education Project

Ward Personnel is partnering with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for the delivery of a €15 million Primary School Extension in Rathcoole.

Commencing in September / October 2026, this project will provide a modern educational facility for a growing local community. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of the project from pre-construction through to final account.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute construction professional looking to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of the project.
• Preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Preparation and agreement of valuations and variations.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Contract administration and risk management.
• Management of subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• Working closely with project delivery teams to maximise project performance.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 7+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role with a main contractor.
• Proven experience managing projects valued at €10m+.
• Strong contractual and commercial knowledge.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience on education, healthcare, commercial or public sector projects advantageous.
