Site Engineer – Residential & Apartments Development

Location: Dublin

Project: Major residential scheme (20 duplex units + 60-unit apartment block)

Duration: Full Project Duration

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join our team on a landmark residential development in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work across both duplex and apartment phases, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and smooth delivery from start to finish.

You’ll be a key player on site, working closely with the design team, subcontractors, and project managers to bring modern homes and apartments to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out and supervising works for reinforced concrete frames and drainage
  • Interpreting drawings, ordering materials, and ensuring accuracy on site
  • Using digital tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Total Station) to manage setting out and site data
  • Carrying out pre-pour checks and maintaining quality standards
  • Managing documentation and workflows through Common Data Environments (CDE)
  • Liaising with the design team, issuing RFIs and submittals as required
  • Supporting fit-out and envelope works, including plasterboard, roof, and façade installation
  • Promoting a safe, efficient, and collaborative site environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Site Engineer on residential or apartment developments
  • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete frames and drainage setting out
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and robotic Total Stations
  • Familiarity with digital construction workflows (CDE platforms)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate effectively with design teams
  • Experience with internal/external finishes and envelope works (advantage)
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable working outdoors
