Our client, a top contractor, requires a Site Manager to look after a large residential project in Portlaoise.

It is a timber frame construction project with 200 units and there is 5 years work on the project.

A salary of €90-100k was mentioned.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management, coordination and monitoring of the site labour force and specialist subcontractors.
• Assist the Project team to monitor progress to meet agreed programme targets.
• Ensure works are delivered to the highest possible quality standards
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Work closely with supply chain and subcontractors to maintain positive relationships and culture on the ground.

The successful candidate will have:

• Site management experience on timber frame residential projects in Ireland or the UK
• Demonstrated ability to see projects through from start to finish
• Previous experience working for a main contractor
• From either a trades or professional background
• The right to work in the EU
