Construction Project Manager
Apply OnlineDue to continued growth and an increasing project portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work alongside our General Manager and take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
This is a senior-level role overseeing several live projects at any one time, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple civil engineering and construction projects simultaneously.
- Oversee project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Lead and support site management teams across various locations.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets, costs and overall project performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues effectively.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients.
- Support operational improvements and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing civil engineering and construction projects.
- Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors and multiple work packages.
- Strong understanding of project planning, programming and project delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Desirable
- Experience in renewable energy projects.
- Background working with a main contractor.
- Experience working for a large housebuilder.
- Relevant construction or engineering qualification.
