Our Munster Business Development team of Peter Abernethy, Jack Finn & Anthony Savage attended the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) 6th Annual Southern Construct Summit and Exhibition 2024 in the Clayton Silver Springs Hotel last Thursday. We had an Exhibition Stand at the event and It was great to meet with some of our existing clients as well as some potential new clients to discuss their current and upcoming projects in the Cork region.
It was very encouraging to hear from all the speakers and panellists who discussed a wide range of topics relating to the sector and region, including the skills shortage impacting the industry.
It was clear that there is a lot of positivity in the Construction sector across the Southern region, but it was also evident there are still roadblocks in place relating to planning regulations that will hopefully be addressed to support and facilitate the many projects that are in the pipeline.
