We had a tremendous afternoon and evening on Friday Sept 8th where we held our first annual inter office soccer challenge between the Ward Personnel Dublin office and the Ward Personnel Cork office, followed by a staff BBQ and social event.
The soccer was fiercely competitive with the younger legs of the Dublin team eventually proving decisive, earning a well -deserved victory over the Leesiders!. There were some great skills on show and the match was followed by a penalty shoot-out against our hotshot goalkeeper Paul Kuczynksi. The eventual winner was our resident sharpshooter, Daniel Mnase from the Finance team in Cork.
After the soccer we had some much-needed liquid refreshments and BBQ at The Courtyard, Sober Lane in Cork city followed by presentations from the soccer event and some late-night dancing ! Overall, it was a very enjoyable team building event with a great atmosphere and some good laughs on the day. Attached photo montage gives a nice flavour of the day’s activities.
