Rory Dean, Manager of the Ward Personnel Cork Labour and Trades team, was delighted to give a short presentation to the participants at the Construction Skills training program held recently at the Cork College of FET in Bishopstown.
This program is supported by Intreo and is aimed at helping to upskill workers who in turn can then avail of opportunities in the construction labour market where at present there are acute shortages across a range of trades and skills.
Rory gave the class some useful updates and tips on a range of topics including how to get an initial start in construction, CV preparation, interview skills and information on training tickets and certificates that would help them to get long term work in the construction sector.
Overall, a very good event and thanks to Intreo for the invite to Ward Personnel to participate.
