Matt Mis, Head of Ward Personnel’s International Sourcing Division, and Anthony Savage, Head of Business Development, recently had a successful trip to Europe.
They began in Denmark, where they visited clients in Kalundborg and Hillerød. Through our local Danish subsidiary, Ward Personnel is currently supplying specialist trade workers from Poland to these sites.
The attached photo, showcasing numerous tower cranes, highlights the scale of these impressive projects. It’s fantastic to see so many Irish construction and M&E companies thriving in Denmark.
Next, Matt and Anthony travelled to Magdeburg, Germany, where they attended an excellent networking event for Irish construction and M&E companies exploring the German market.
The event focused on the labour supply and construction recruitment challenges facing Irish companies operating in Germany.
This was a valuable opportunity to connect with Irish companies that are either already active in Germany or are considering establishing a presence there. The scale of upcoming projects in Germany is massive.
We would like to thank Enterprise Ireland in Germany for the invitation. We are currently in the process of setting up our German subsidiary, with plans to provide services on the ground in Germany by early 2025.
