Ward Personnel have worked successfully with Intreo on a number of initiatives over the last 2 years in relation to trying to address the skills shortage in the Construction sector – including open days in Ireland and abroad, on- site presentations, and upskilling initiatives.
We are now delighted to sign the Intreo Employment and Youth Engagement charter which represents a formal commitment to support and assist jobseekers to secure pathways to employment (including in the construction sector). The charter has a wide range of initiatives including supports on training, upskilling, interview preparation and mentoring, back to work initiatives, presentations and open days, and promoting careers in construction.
We are excited to participate in this program over the coming months of 2024 and we feel that this program has an important part to play in addressing the overall shortage of construction workers in Ireland.
