Ward Personnel team members Rory Dean, Niall Fitzgerald, and Ray Kelly were delighted to attend last week’s job fair at Kinsale Road Accommodation Centre.
The KRAC currently houses around 100 asylum seekers from all over the world who are either waiting to receive a work permit or have received one and are in the process of entering the job market. It was a fantastic event with 10 exhibitors attending to meet these candidates.
The Ward Personnel team met many very promising candidates who have construction experience in their native countries and are looking for an opening in the construction sector in Ireland. They are enthusiastic about contributing to society and expanding their work experience here in Ireland.
Given the current shortage of construction workers in Ireland, we are eager to source new workers to enter the industry and to help build the houses and infrastructure that the country needs. We were also delighted to chat with Cork City Lord Mayor Dan Boyle who was in attendance supporting the event.
