As we move through the middle of 2026, I want to thank you for your continued partnership and share a brief update on where the year has taken us so far. The construction sector remains under sustained pressure, with demand for housing, infrastructure and skilled labour continuing to rise. Workforce availability, planning delays and project resourcing are still central themes in national discussions, and they are challenges we see reflected daily across our operations in Ireland and Europe.
The past few months have been a period of meaningful progress for Ward Personnel. We have strengthened our presence in key markets, expanded our teams, and continued to support clients with both blue‑collar and white‑collar recruitment needs. Our new Irish Head Office has also given our teams a modern, collaborative base that supports our growth and enhances how we serve clients nationwide and internationally.
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, our focus remains clear: delivering reliable service, building a strong and responsive candidate pipeline, and supporting your project requirements with the professionalism and expertise you expect from us. In today’s fast-moving business landscape, trusted long-term partnerships matter more than ever. After more than 15 years of building strong relationships and deep confidence with our clients, Ward Personnel is delighted to expand its White-Collar Division.
To enhance the service we provide, our dedicated White Collar recruitment team now supports the full range of professional roles required across modern construction and commercial operations. This allows us to act as a true one-stop partner, connecting both blue-collar and white-collar talent under one trusted service. Our White-Collar division is led by Allan Daly who has over 20 years construction recruitment experience across the Irish market.
Our team places qualified professionals, either temp or perm, across key areas of industry, including on-site operations such as site engineers, site management and project management. We also support contract management and administration roles, along with commercial and head office positions including senior quantity surveyors, estimators and procurement specialists.
By building on long-established relationships, we make it easier for businesses to access the right expertise at every level of their organisation.
New Ward Personnel Head Office
We are delighted to share a short video tour of our new Irish Head Office, a modern and welcoming space that reflects the continued growth and ambition of Ward Personnel. This new home supports our nationwide operations across Ireland and also strengthens our European presence in Denmark, Germany and Poland.
The video offers a glimpse of the team settling into the new environment, showcasing a bright, collaborative workspace designed to support both productivity and connection. It is great to see everyone looking so engaged and energised as they step into this next chapter for the company.
Our new office represents more than a change of location. It is an investment in our people, our partners and the future of Ward Personnel as we continue to expand our services and capabilities across Europe.
BNCC 2026 – Infrastructure Summit, Copenhagen
Kasia Sobczyk and Matt Mis represented Ward Personnel at the BNCC 2026 Infrastructure Summit in Copenhagen last week. The event brought together construction and infrastructure professionals from across Scandinavia, all focused on current projects and future development in the region. It provided an excellent opportunity for meaningful conversations, particularly around staffing and the growing demand for skilled personnel.
Throughout the day, Kasia and Matt engaged with industry leaders on ongoing work and upcoming opportunities, gaining valuable insights into the challenges and priorities shaping the Scandinavian market.
We extend our thanks to Mickey Lund and the Building Network / Building Network International team for organising a well-run event with the right people in the room. Their efforts created a productive environment for discussion and collaboration.
We look forward to continuing the conversations started at the summit and supporting both existing and potential clients with their construction recruitment needs across the region.
Ward Personnel Visits Cork Simon CommunityLast month, Tom Dennehy and Kevin O’Leary visited Cork Simon Community to meet with potential candidates and discuss entry‑level opportunities in the construction sector. The session focused on what the industry looks like right now, the types of roles available, and why construction can offer stable, long‑term and well‑paid work for people who are ready to take that next step or re‑enter the workforce.
There is real support available for anyone interested in starting a career in construction. From on‑site roles to skilled trades, the sector continues to offer strong pathways for progression, training and secure employment.
At Ward Personnel, we believe recruitment is about more than filling positions. It means reaching into communities, meeting people where they are, and opening doors to opportunities that may not yet be visible. Engagements like this help us connect individuals with meaningful work while supporting the wider community.

We are pleased to welcome Lucinda Meehan, Business Development & Account Manager to Ward Personnel.
Lucinda joined the company in February of this year and plays a key role in supporting our clients across the construction and mechanical and electrical sectors. She leads our business development activity in the Dublin market, working closely with companies and candidates to ensure their staffing needs are met with efficiency, professionalism and a solutions‑focused approach.
With strong industry knowledge and extensive experience in relationship management, Lucinda has built a reputation for understanding the day‑to‑day realities of construction work at every level. Her proactive style and commitment to client service make her an invaluable part of the team.
Outside of work, Lucinda enjoys staying active, reading and spending time with her family.
IHBA Housebuilding Summit, Croke Park
On Tuesday, 21st April, Anthony Savage, Allan Daly and David Ward attended the IHBA Housebuilding Summit at Croke Park. The event brought together key stakeholders from across the housing and construction sector to discuss the challenges currently slowing down housing delivery in Ireland. Topics included planning bottlenecks, infrastructure gaps and the wider structural issues that need to be addressed to support sustainable progress.
For Ward Personnel, these conversations are directly relevant. As a recruitment company working across the construction sector every day, the workforce shortages highlighted at the summit reflect what our teams see on the ground consistently. Addressing these challenges requires collaboration across the industry, and events like this play an important role in shaping that dialogue.
The summit was well organised and impactful, and we extend our thanks to the IHBA for facilitating an important forum for discussion and industry engagement.
